Kerala to launch Skills Delivery Platform

The project aims to create a platform to deliver skills training to around 50,000 students every year. The Kerala Technological University has been asked to furnish the complete list of educational institutions that are to be included in the implementation of this project.



The state government has accorded comprehensive administrative sanction for Skills Delivery Platform Kerala, a project to link Engineering Colleges with IT Parks via Tele presence network. The Kerala Technological University has been asked to furnish the complete list of educational institutions that are to be included in the implementation of this project. 

The project aims to create a platform to deliver skills training to around 50,000 students every year. As part of the project, a learning platform will be launched connecting 150 Hi-Tech classrooms in the Engineering Colleges in the state. Besides, a skill database will be prepared that will have the students' profile and that would be accessible for industry for their fresh graduate recruitment programme, thereby increasing the job placement for students from Kerala.
